After an action-packed, eventful first season, it’s no surprise that fans are eagerly awaiting the second season of FOX’s hit series Gotham.  As James Gordon continues his fight to end corruption in a city of madness, some of DC’s deadliest villains are making their rise to power.  At the head of the pack is Oswald Cobblepot, also known as the Penguin, but others will stop at nothing to take his place.  Both the Riddler and the Joker have finally shown their true colors and it looks as if there are plenty more villains where that came from.  There are many things to look forward to going into the second season, but we’ve narrowed our list down to the top five.

Fear The Walking Dead Midtown Comics Review

If your eyes were glued to the TV this past Sunday at 9pm, it’s safe to say that you were probably watching AMC’s newest undead series, Fear The Walking Dead.  We’re assuming this because an astounding 10.1 million people were watching the new show, good for the all-time record in cable history.  The massive series premiere was nearly double that of its predecessor, The Walking Dead, which totaled 5.35 million viewers.

Just in time to celebrate Jack Kirby’s birthday we talk to his grandaughter Jillian Kirby and son Neal Kirby along with Kirby historian Guy Dorian. about all the events for his birthday August 28th. You can donate to the Hero Initiative through Kirby4Heroes, and shop at select comic book stores where a portion of their days sales gets donated.  Guy also tells us some of his Facebook pages he runs where you can celebrate the art of Kirby as well.  Remember it’s also Read Comics In Public day so get out there with your comics!
