Jane Espenson is a regular collaborator with Joss Whedon, working on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly.

We’re buying back issues and collectibles in a big way, and we’re especially looking for Silver and Golden Age comics, along with key issues of ANY age. We also need LOTS of vintage toys and collectibles, so don’t be shy, bring everything, and be prepared to meet Midtown’s back issue man Alex Rae. Who knows? You may walk away with an Uncle Scrooge-size haul of money!! Buying day takes place at Midtown Comics Downtown, at 64 Fulton Street (corner of Ryder Alley, just a few blocks east of Broadway), from 11:00AM to 4:00PM.

Jim Lee and Scott Snyder will be at Midtown Comics Downtown for Free Comic Book Day signing Superman: The Last Son of Krypton from 7:00pm-9:00pm. This will be a very popular event, and we recommend early arrival.
