This week Ted, Gavin, and Sam welcome the Image Comics published Rocket Girl team of Amy Reeder and Brandon Montclare to talk about what they are up to and it turns into a chat about the best  places to eat brunch in NYC, movie trailers including The Fantastic Four trailer released this week, and other things.

Speaking of breakfast, Ted and Gavin had a chance to sit down and share breakfast with Kingsman: The Secret Service movie director Matthew Vaughn and discuss the pros and cons of working on a major studio film like X-Men First Class and independent films like Kick Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service.  Listen after the interview to see how you can see Kingsman: The Secret Service early if you live near our stores!

We dive into the weeks best comics and have a quick phone call with artist Tait Howard who had a piece in the Amazing World of Gumball 2014 Special this week.

The gang (Ted, Andrew, Gavin and Sam) welcome X-files fan and store employee Ingrid back to the show to help us chat with comic writer Joe Harris about his work on IDW’s Millenium and X-Files Season 10 comics.  Andrew tells how Joe made him sleep with the lights on when he was younger and we all share our X-Files memories. Then we talk about the huge Marvel Secret Wars press conference that occured in our store last Tuesday and try to make it less confusing for us.  We end up sharing out top picks of the week and it was good one for everyone.

We noticed that the file we originally uploaded last week didn’t have the Jason Aaron an John Cassaday interview on it.  We have corrected the mistake, you can re-download the episode. We also added it to the end of this episode in case you missed it.
