A New Kind of Comic Con is Coming to NYC:
Midtown Comics is proud to present the Five Points Festival, a designer toy and comic art convention debuting May 20-21 in Lower Manhattan! A showcase of artists, designers, publishers, and toy brands, Five Points is a place for comic fans, collectors, and anyone interested in independent art! Guests include Bryan Lee O’Malley, Greg Capullo, Sean Gordon Murphy, Simone Legno, and Ron English! Tickets are available online, and soon available in-store at all Midtown Comics locations.

A can’t-miss new comic:
Everyone’s favorite no-nonsense powerhouse, America Chavez, gets her own series! America has always been incontestably awesome, and as the newly appointed leader of the Ultimates, she’s now officially claimed her place as the preeminent butt-kicker of the Marvel Universe! America #1 is written by Gabby Rivera and features artwork by Joe Quinones.

Spectacular Spidey stories:
Spider-Man’s foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe begins here, with part one of an adaptation of the blockbuster Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War! Spider-Man Homecoming Prelude #1 is by writer Will Pilgrim and artist Todd Nauck. As Miguel searches for a lead on the men who kidnapped Tempest, Captain America grills a defector of the Fist about the impending disaster that spells doom for 2099. Spider-Man 2099 #21 is by Peter David and Will Sliney, with a cover by Francesco Mattina!

Clone Conspiracy’s aftermath:
The Rhino comes at Spider-Man with an intense fury and aims to pin the spider to the wall… Permanently! What was the final fate of the Lizard? Clone Conspiracy Omega #1 is by Dan Slott, Christos Gage, Peter David, Corey Smith, Mark Bagley, and Stuart Immonen!

Yoda’s latest adventure:
A problem, Yoda has. A big problem. Strong with the stonepower, this problem is.  But judge it not by its size, will he. Star Wars #29 is by writer Jason Aaron and artist Salvador Larroca, with a cover by Stuart Immonen!

The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel:
Bane broke the bat before, but it wasn’t enough – now he’s going to break everyone else! Bane is coming, and no one is safe!  Batman #18 is by Tom King and David Finch! In the first Rebirth crossover between Superman and Action Comics, the shocking truth behind Oz’s words is revealed. It begins with one of Oz’s prisoners escaping, and ends in a tragic moment for Lois and Superman. Superman #18 is by Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason!

The Justice League’s journey:
Scattered across time, the individual members of the Justice League must fight their way back to the present from the ancient past and distant future to stop the Timeless from erasing the Earth’s greatest heroes from history itself. Justice League #16 is by writer Bryan Hitch and artist Fernando Pasarin!

A magical collection:
The acclaimed writer of Batman: The Animated Series has had a history with the premier magician of the DC Universe, penning stories for the past two decades starring Zatanna Zatara! Zatanna by Paul Dini includes Zatanna #1-16, Zatanna: Everyday Magic #1, and chapters from DC Infinite Halloween Special #1 and DC Universe Rebirth Holiday Special #1 by Paul Dini, Stephane Roux, and more – with a cover by Adam Hughes!

New Jeff Lemire and the Walking Dead:
Royal City charts the lives, loves, and losses of a troubled family and a vanishing town across three decades. It’s a return to the literary and thematic territory of the breakthrough graphic novel Essex County. Royal City #1 is by Jeff Lemire! Meanwhile, when Alexandria is at its weakest… they strike. A new chapter of The Walking Dead is shuffling towards new comic book day! Walking Dead #165 is by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard!
