Hello Midtown Bloggerinos! Raph here with a little double dose of blog talk. First, FCBD was this past weekend! I’m going to talk about the craziness of FCBD from the Midtown perspective, as well as highlight some books and talk about why FCBD is important for the industry… On with the FREE COMICS!

Greetings Blogvengers! If it’s early in the week, it must be time for some Raph Rampage on your computer screens! This week, the reality of life sets in. You and I can’t go to every convention out there (unless you’ve got someone to subsidize your comic habit or are independently wealthy… grumble grumble), and WonderCon 2011 has come and gone without us. FRET NOT BLOG READER! I’ve chosen my favorite tidbits to present to you! I would like to thank the people at Comic Book Resources (www.comicbookresources.com) and Newsarama (www.newsarama.com ) for having people at the con doing the reporting. Check those pages out for extensive coverage!
This week Thor and Dimitrios go to the movies and give you their thoughts on some recently released and upcoming films like Men In Black III, Harry Potter, Cowboys and Aliens, Green Lantern, Judge Dredd and more!
Paul Levitz stops by the Midtown Comics booth during the New York Comic Con to sign promo posters for his upcoming book 75 Years Of DC Comics: The Art Of Modern Mythmaking. One lucky convention attendee even got to take home an advance copy of the book thanks to Taschen Books and Midtown Comics! Have a look!
