SW2

May the 4th is quickly approaching, and we want to celebrate it by giving some lucky Star Wars fans a chance to check out Discover Times Square’s awesome costume exhibit! This exhibition gives you the chance to gaze at Darth Vader’s iconic costume and smile as you stare at the lovable BB-8. Several winners will get to enjoy the exhibit for free, and one very lucky fan will receive a VIP tour!

Star Wars and the Power of Costume: The Exhibition currently at Discovery Times Square features more 70 original costumes, as well as dozens of artifacts from all seven epic Star Wars films. During the VIP personal tour visitors will learn interesting facts about the history of the films and the cool costumes on display.  At the end of the tour visitors will also receive a special Star Wars themed gift. Sorry, but it’s not an actual lightsaber. Those haven’t been invented… yet. Read on to enter the contest! And, of course, may the Force be with you!

Marvel’s dropping Old Man Logan #4, Vertigo’s releasing Sheriff of Babylon #5, and, of course, DC has given the world the Wonder Woman: Earth One graphic novel. There are plenty of comics that are more than worthy of your time (see above for the full list), but there are also five #1 issues that we really enjoyed, so we want to make sure they’re on your radar. So, we’re about to briefly explain why you should give these new comics a chance. If the title sounds like a good time to you, go give it a shot. If not, maybe the next one will win you over! Either way, we hope you enjoy reading at least one comic this week!

MIDTOWN COMICS & ACTION FIGURE JUNKIES were able to catch up with Sean Wilkinson, the very busy Creative Director at FUNKO, as he gears up for Toy Fair ’16 in two weeks at the Jacob Javitts Center in New York City.
