Supergirl TV Show

CBS’ Supergirl is finally here, and it made quite a debut. There’s already a good amount of comic book TV shows on the air and there’s even more on the horizon, but last night’s Supergirl premiere showed that superhero fatigue has not set in! The brand new comic book show, which stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, received a whopping 12.9 million viewers! Only time will tell whether or not a majority of viewers stick around, but so far, the Kryptonian’s show is off to an incredibly strong start!

Thanks to a whole lot of charm, humor, relatable characters, and overwhelming sense of optimism, it’s looking like Supergirl could be the lighthearted and family-friendly comic book show that millions of fans – from young viewers to longtime comic readers – across the globe can enjoy! The fact there’s some pretty good special effects, entertaining action scenes with superpowers, and major easter eggs doesn’t hurt, either! And with that ending, we’re absolutely interested in seeing how everything will play out, as well as finding out which other villains may pop up.

What do you think about the brand new show, Mighty Midtowners? Are you left wanting to watch more adventures with Supergirl, or are you not going to tune in for the second episode? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
