Last issue, a new team of X-Men were brought together through crisis, working to save the day from major mental mayhem! There’s only one way to stop this fiend from using his power to destroy the Earth, and that means that the X-Men have to enter the astral plane! But the Shadow King has a secret weapon that will astonish the team. Astonishing X-Men #2 features writer Charles Soule, with art by Mike Deodato!

Galactic Guardians:
The greatest heroes in all of space stand divided! Lando Calrissian takes a cruise to Coruscant to swindle some credits. Too bad it’s never that easy! Then, Han and Chewie go back to smuggling for the Hutts? Something is definitely not adding up here! Star Wars #34 is by writer Jason Aaron with art by Salvador Larroca. Elsewhere, Poe Dameron and Snap Wexley are tracking down a traitor to the rebellion! There’s a price to pay for selling out to the First Order! Star Wars Poe Dameron #18 is by Charles Soule and Angel Unzueta.

Heavy Metal:
The build has been palpable. Dark Days revealed the presence of a mysterious new matter that brought together the likes of Batman, Green Lantern, Hawkman, and the Joker. Now, the Dark Multiverse stands revealed and it’s up Batman and the Justice League to save the day! But in order to do so, they will have to push themselves more than they ever have before. They will have to prove their mettle. Dark Nights Metal #1 reunites the Batman creative team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo.

Fear Itself:
What scares Superman? The thought alone is terrifying, as the Man of Steel regularly saves the planet from certain doom. But somewhere out in space, there is something that haunts him to his very soul. The Green Lantern Corps and Sinestro Corps guest star! Superman #29 is by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason with art by Doug Mahnke. Then, Robin and Superboy face the planet of the capes! Monster maker Kraklow puts Superboy to the test in this team up with the Teen Titans. Super Sons #7 is by Peter Tomasi with art by Jorge Jimenez.

Quisque Pellentesque:
“The War of Jokes and Riddles” continues! Batman has done his best to keep the peace, but neither the Joker or the Riddler are backing down! If Batman wants the violence to end, he may have to chose the lesser of two evils. Either way, he loses. Batman #29 is by writer Tom King with art by Mikel Janin. Then, it’s a brand new story arc in Trinity! “Dark Destiny” starts here! Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman must turn to the aid of Deadman, Zatanna, and John Constantine for help against Ra’s Al Ghul! Trinity #12 welcomes aboard writer Rob Williams, with art by Clay Mann.

Sandy Days:
The Sandman is back! Sandman, Brute, and Glob battle an onslaught of dreams so powerful that they are invading the minds of other people! Can this team of misfits turn back the sands of time and save the day? Plus, Jed Walker returns to his childhood home and finds himself haunted by his dreams of the past! Jack Kirby’s mind and imagination live on in celebration of his 100th birthday! Sandman Special #1 is by writer Dan Jurgens with art by Jon Bogdanove, with a back-up from Steve Orlando and Rick Leonardi.

Prodigal Genius:
Seventeen year old Destiny Ajaye took on the LAPD in her South Central Siege and paid for it with her freedom. Now, Destiny is sequestered in the Madrasa Institute, a government school for prodigies. Will she use her gifts to wage war at the military’s behest or is she already planning another revolution? Genius: Cartel #1 is the sequel to the hit Genius series, winner of Top Cow’s Pilot Season, and brings back writers Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman, with artist Rosi Kampe.
